When we were first married, my husband opened his own HVAC company.
From the very beginning, he was a success.
He used to tell me that he worked so hard making the HVAC company a success because he wanted to hand it down to our sons. We now have two grown sons who are HVAC technicians, and they work with her father. As of yet, neither of our sons have left the house. I am beginning to wonder if our sons will ever get married, or at least find their own home. I’m thinking I’m going to have three HVAC technicians in my house for the rest of my life. The problem is that although I love my men, it upsets me a bit that with three HVAC technicians in the house, I still have no air conditioning. I have been telling them at the breakfast table, at the dinner table, and at times in between, that the air conditioning unit was not working properly. Finally, last week, my husband came in after a long day of work and asked why it was so warm in the house. I rolled my eyes and just stared at him. I asked him how many times I had said that the air conditioner was not working properly? He just stared at me like I had three heads. He did not remember my asking for someone to please repair the air conditioning unit. My two sons came in five minutes later and commented on how warm the house was. My husband went all boss on them and said that since they were HVAC technicians, instead of complaining about the heat, they should just repair the air conditioner.
