We’re turning the garage into a family room

In a couple of weeks, we are going to be turning the garage into a modern family room.

• I have been bugging our fiance about getting us a modern family room for a long, long time, however she always says that we aren’t able to build any modern living space onto the existing section of the house because of zoning issues that we would be having in the city.

I do not like the fact that there are all of these zoning laws and ordinances around here that we have to contend with. Anyway, since we couldn’t add on any extra space to the outside of the house and I still wanted to have a newer, bigger family room, our fiance had to guess outside of the box. She decided that we would turn the garage into a modern living space instead because that way, we wouldn’t have to worry about the zoning issues, and the concern with that was the fact that the garage was never set up with heating and cooling ducts the way that we would need it to be in order to be additional living space for us. So now we are the lookout for a local heating and cooling supplier that will be willing to install the ventilation ducts and heating and cooling vents that we are going to need in the modern family room. I know that it’s not a normal sort of task, however I’m hoping that we will be able to find someone to do it for us separate from too much of a problem. I know that once we get everything finished, we are really going to love it. I just hope that we can get the Heating and Air Conditioning system to work the right way.
