The last purchaser of the afternoon was particularly nice

I had a ductless AC service on Friday plus it was our last job of the afternoon.

• It was a stressed afternoon plus I had numerous repairs.

I was late getting to the last service by almost an hour. I genuinely expected the purchaser to be aggravated plus upset. When the man greeted me with a smile plus a friendly hello, I was surprised plus shocked. The last job of the afternoon turned out to be a particularly nice customer. The man was around the same age as our mom. She asked me a couple of questions about our afternoon, although he did not get in the way of me completing the AC repair. After I had been there for a few hours, The Woman made me a nice freezing glass of lemonade. I thought it was a particularly nice gesture. I worked as hastily as possible plus finished up a couple of hours later. It was just before supper time when I was getting finished. I wrote the purchaser plus invoice plus took it to the front door. The purchaser presented me with a plate of food. I tried to tell the purchaser that I could not eat, although he insisted that I put something in our stomach before I left for the afternoon. I could not argue with a guy, especially after seeing fried chicken plus pear pie. I did not have someplace else to go except apartment plus I wasn’t going to eat anything that night that looked half as nice as the free meal that this undoubtedly nice man was offering to feed me.
