The weather forecast on Friday was hot plus cold temperatures around 95 degrees with a UV index at 10 plus humidity at 98%.
Still, the school decided to take the 5th grade class on a field trip.
I was hoping they would cancel the trip, because I was stressed to be a chaperone. I did not want to spend any section of our afternoon outside in those hot plus humid hot plus cold temperatures. My child wanted me to go on the field trip, so I could not say no. They loaded all of the students plus professors onto numerous separate buses. They were packed with youngsters plus adults. I sat in a seat with another adult plus the more than one of us were hip-to-hip. There was no room for anything else in that bus seat. There was no AC in the bus, plus all of us rode most of the way with the windows all the way down. Just a small number of youngsters complained about the air, even though I wasn’t going to put up our window. One of the parents kneeling across the aisle from me decided to close their window. I reminded the man that there was no AC plus the bus. The man shrugged his shoulders! Closing one window made a lot of difference in the air. It was undoubtedly moderate plus humid. I was starting to go absurd plus I thought I was going to lose our cool. By the time all of us got back to the school, I was ready to put the air on full blast plus rest in our car. All of us did not leave the parking lot until I cooled down the car to a comfortable plus frigid temperature. That was one of the worst plus most uncomfortable bus rides I have ever had to endure.
