Have you heard the ancient saying that 1 man’s trash is another man’s treasure? I really assume the same, and maybe you think it’s gross, despite the fact that I really enjoy digging through other people’s trash.
The reason is that I always find something that really shouldn’t be thrown away at all, and you can save a lot of currency by digging through someone else’s garbage… I have found all kinds of things by dumpster diving, and everything from TVs, to tables, to even, & the best window that I own.
I have been wanting a window A/C for such a long time & I could not assume my luck when I found what looks like a brand up-to-date window air conditioner that my friend had thrown away. It was in perfect condition! All it needed was a little bit of cleaning. I crossed my hands & hoped that when I went to plug it in it would work; However, first I needed to thoroughly tidy it up. Once I took it home I scrubbed it really well using multiple cleaners to make sure it came out with a nice clean & room free exterior. I even used a few fragrances on it so it smelled good. Then it was time for the real test. I held my breath & jammed it in & it came on without a problem. Ever since that day I found that I have been using it almost always. It was just such a lucky find, & it would save myself and others from taking an unnecessary trip to the Heating & Air Conditioning store to purchase 1 myself, however some of the things that people throw away are simply unbelievable.
