I was really happy when my wife and I secured a nice home with a beautiful fireplace.
The fireplace was grand, very large and you could tell it had been maintained properly. We honestly had seen many homes that we were interested in, but this place definitely took the cake. I kept telling my wife that we had to get this place while I was envisioning myself relaxing with a pipe in my hand in my coziest chair. I could see myself and my wife enjoying a romantic candle-lit dinner together with the fireplace going. And of course, I thought about how many books I was going to enjoy with that fireplace going. The last time I was actually able to enjoy an indoor wood-burning fireplace was at my grandparents’ home. I shared so many fabulous memories with them playing cards, enjoying meals, hanging out with cousins, everything. We even went to see the hot air balloons launch off in town on numerous occasions. Some of my most preferred memories in life were hanging out there in front of that fireplace, and now I had my own! I already had a cozy chair that I loved to read my books in, but I wanted something more. I looked into all types of different chairs, but I decided to get a matching chair so my wife and I could relax in front of the fireplace, or I could have a buddy over to hang out with with the fireplace keeping us relaxed. We have had many occasions just drinking there and talking about what was going on in our lives. I just wish I could use that fireplace year round, but I still relax in front of it even when I can’t get a fire going.
