There were days when the only thing good about going into the office was the zone controlled HVAC.
I worked in a position for nearly 15 years that could be just overwhelming, stressful and downright tough to deal with.
But that’s what it took for me to get the skills, expertise and connections that I knew it would take to go out on my own. That was the thing that kept driving me when I just wanted to give up. I knew that if I stuck it out, I could stop making rich people richer and start my own business. This was the plan and now it’s a reality. The pandemic sort of was a prelude for me finally taking the leap. When we were sent home from that zone controlled HVAC of the office to work from our own air conditioning, it worked out great. I set up an office in my house by clearing out a spare room that was simply loaded with junk that we wouldn’t or couldn’t toss out. That was a big step and also an important one. I realized that I could hold down costs in such a big way by starting out at home and then scaling up the operation. So having to work from home was the kick start I needed. My home office got the full works with all the necessary office equipment and the works. I also had an HVAC professional come out to install a ductless heat pump in that office. I like to work inside more cooling than the rest of my family so it works out great. And this sort of quality heating and air rivals even the zone controlled HVAC of the office.
