Over the last 3 years, I had been working from home, but it was no longer working, the pandemic had kept me home, and I had a strenuous time working because either my youngsters or hubby were constantly underfoot, and i was talking to my hubby the other afternoon and told him I needed to find a small office where I could work separate from worrying about the youngsters and the house coming ahead of my work. I had been a free-lance writer since I from university, but my being house 24/7 was becoming a problem, and my writing was no longer what it once was, and I was sure it had to do with working from home; With a several-year-old and a four-year-old, my time was never my own. I started looking for a small office space for rent, but I knew it had to be close to home. I called a realtor to see if he knew of any small office spaces, and he promised to do some research for me, however everything he came up with was several or more rooms and access to a shared bathroom in the hallway. When he started telling me the cost of these office spaces, it shocked me. They were so high-priced, and I wondered if they weren’t in some high-priced office building, then he admitted they were in office buildings, and I told his I needed nothing fancy. I knew the realtor wasn’t cheerful with my request because he would not make much money, but I knew what I could afford when I rented a small office space.
