There is something about my university classes that I just can’t stand.
In nearly every building in which I have a class, the cooling system is absolutely unbearably cold! I don’t understand why it needs to be so cold in every single building on campus.
I understand that every one of us live in a moderate region of the country, & it is the middle of May, & summer time is on the way, but there is such a thing as overdoing it. Other classmates seem to be lulled to sleep by the cold. They pull the hood of their hoodies up & pass out in the middle of class. Meanwhile, I sit there attempting to listen to the lecture while my teeth chatter. I simply cannot focus in class with the air vent blasting ice frosty air directly on top of me. I want to speak to somebody about the overbearing cooling system but I am not sure who to talk to about it. I don’t feel my educator can help me. It’s not prefer the educators are in charge of the control unit. That’s really an administrative matter. At least the temperature in the dorm rooms is much more bearable. That’s because every one of us really do have control of our own individual control units within each residing space. I thank God for that! If it wasn’t the case I feel I would fail every single 1 of my classes because I would not be able to find a place comfortable enough to focus on my studies. I guess I just need to wear extra layers all the time, but that is a pain because it’s so moderate outside!
