There is a lot to be said for working from home.
Not only that but also being a single’s own boss.
I get to do both as I labor as an independent information technologies expert. There are sizable benefits that come with working for yourself because you are steering the ship. But I don’t have a support staff inside the zone controlled Heating and Air Conditioning of an office either. It’s all on me. I also don’t get to care about that zone controlled Heating and Air Conditioning on somebody else’s dime. For our heating and cooling, I’m the a single that pays that bill. And since every one of us moved up north, it’s been not so simple on myself and others to get accustomed to paying for Heating and Air Conditioning heating. Where I came from and all I honestly knew were winters where the heat pump was more than satisfactory. Moving to where every one of us are comes with a gas furnace. That was our first clue that I may be in over our head on the Wintertide front. But our wife is from this area and she assured myself and others that I’d get accustomed to long, frigid winters. Well, it’s been many of those bitter frigid winters and a lot of Heating and Air Conditioning heating costs but I’m still not used to it. However this winter, I’m aiming to reduce our Heating and Air Conditioning heating costs by prepping our home for winter. I’m sealing the house honestly slim and making sure all the window are super insulated. Replacing all the weather stripping and an old storm door with help as well. There are other things on the checklist I downloaded from the Heating and Air Conditioning company website. I’m just hoping I don’t have to turn on the space furnace under our desk this winter.
