I firmly believe that high school sweethearts shouldn’t get married. There, I said it! Everyone thinks it’s so romantic to settle down and marry the first person you ever date, but to me that sounds weird. How can you really know what’s out there for you if you don’t look? Having that first teenage love is important, but surviving that first teenage breakup is an equally important life experience. Ed was my highschool sweetheart, and things between us ended rather poorly. That was almost 15 years ago, however, and I am about to give Ed a second chance. After high school Ed went to trade school to get into the HVAC industry, and much to my surprise 15 years later he is a contractor and independent businessman. It was such a shock when I saw him at my front door last week. I had contacted a local HVAC business about getting an estimate for a new air conditioner, not knowing that Ed owned the company! When he saw my name on the HVAC work order he wanted to take the job to see me again. Ed is as handsome as ever, maybe even more so because of the success and confidence he gets from his HVAC company.
