I always forget how useful air conditioner is until I am without it, however this month is a wonderful reminder of why I adore Heating, Ventilation & A/C technology and why I could never live without it… I agreed to go with our husband to a meeting that was taking place outside.
This was unfortunate, since it was in the 90s outside.
The meeting was only supposed to last 20 minutes, but that 20 minutes turned into an hour due to some troubles and delays. The first 15 minutes wasn’t so bad, but when the sun started shining directly on us, I started entirely feeling the heat. Thirty minutes later, I was covered in sweat profusely and fanning myself! All I could suppose about was our lovelyly air conditioned home, and how badly I wanted to rest in front of the cooling system vents right now. I looked over at our husband and noticed he had absolutely obvious sweat stains down his back and front. I felt terrible for him as well, and all of us exchanged a look that meant all of us needed to leave asap, then finally, when the meeting was coming to a close, all of us offered an excuse to leave early and then practically bolted towards the car, and our hands touched the cooling system knob inside our vehicle at the same time, and all of us turned the cooling system on. The vehicle ride back home was a nice cool a single, and all of us were start to finally know relaxed, but when all of us made it back to our home, all of us both sat close to the cooling vents, and fully relaxed there.
