During the summer months, I usually work a lot of overtime.
The summer months are the busiest time of the year for an AC repair technician and that is my job.
I’ve been an AC repair technician for 15 years. The career pays the bills at home. I don’t have a lavish lifestyle, but I earn a decent wage and I have health, medical, and dental benefits as well as a retirement plan. In 10 more years, I will be able to retire and I will still be pretty young at that time. When I work long hours during the summer, my wife always makes sure to pack me a big lunch with plenty of drinks and snacks. She packs me three Gatorades and three body armor. I also get snacks like a banana, orange, trail mix, and salted nuts. I get a healthy and nutritious meal as well, like sandwiches, hummus, and salad. I wouldn’t be able to work the long hours that I do each summer if it wasn’t for the help that I get from my wife. She makes it much easier to work long hours when I don’t have to worry about eating or drinking. I don’t have much to do at home either. When I go home at the end of the day, my wife has dinner ready and a snack or dessert for later. There are a lot of guys that I work with at the HVAC repair shop and all of them are jealous because I have the most amazing wife in the world.
