I am not sure what is going on with the HVAC stores lately. I have two heating and air conditioning company stores close to me, and neither of them have my preferred kind of air filter, which is the HEPA air filter. Although, even if I was less picky and decided to go for a lesser quality A/C filter, they are out of most of those too! All they have left at the HVAC businesses is the really cheap generic filters, which there is no way I am going to risk damaging my HVAC unit by using those awful things. When I first noticed the store was out of stock, I didn’t really think that much of it. However, when I returned a week later, and they were still out of stock, that is when I was beginning to get frustrated. I even went to the other air conditioning store, just to see if they had any of the filters in stock, which of course they didn’t, or otherwise I wouldn’t be complaining about this right now. I am just glad that I still had one extra air filter left over, otherwise I don’t know what I would do. I have only had the new air filter in for a month, and I usually change out my filters every 3 months, so hopefully in the next two months, the stores will have the filters back in stock. If they are still not in stock, I might have to look into ordering online, and hoping that will do the trick.
