I regularly felt disappointing for our father when he was in the garage for countless hours working on cars. He correctly would work on cars for buddies and family members. Word spread about his skills with repairing engines though for a fair price, and it became a sort of business for him. He was regularly in the garage though and it wasn’t absolutely comfortable I imagine because there was no HVAC system. He had a work heating plan that he would use that was portable, but it didn’t do such a fantastic task of keeping the garage warm. Not to mention, the garage was not insulated enough to keep the moderate air inside. It was worse in the summer time because there was no cooling plan to speak of. Eventually I told our mother that the two of us should do something about the garage and have some sort of HVAC plan installed in there. The HVAC expert said a ductless mini split plan would work perfectly and the cost wasn’t too disappointing either. So the two of us had the thing installed before our father got back. When he saw the new HVAC system, he didn’t know what to say at first. He was briefly anxious about what it cost us, however he was absolutely glad when he started using it for the first time… For the first time in a long while, he was comfortable in the garage while doing his work.
