I remember when my wife was pregnant with our first son.
That was a pretty wild experience because I didn’t expect all the crazy mood swings.
My wife was always calm natured and never would freak out about anything, but that changed with the pregnancy. Suddenly, she was demanding that I adjust the temperature control settings. Then she would say I was doing it wrong and then go adjust them how she wanted anyway. Before that, we would have a stable temperature control setting of 71 degrees usually in the summer and 68 in the winter. I thought things would change after our son was born, but she kept adjusting the temperature control settings like crazy and was irritable all the time. I don’t know, I guess it’s something that I have just gotten used to because she hasn’t changed much since that time. It’s not like we’re fighting very often or anything, but mainly it’s that the kids keep getting yelled at because they’re always doing something wrong. If they’re not making huge messes, then they are doing something to get themselves hurt or they are not doing their homework. Well, over time, these kids have learned and they also learned not to mess with the thermostat. Their mother always freaks out if they try to fight over the temperature control settings and the temperature control settings always have to be her way. I’ve considered getting a zoned HVAC so we can have customized temperature control settings, but I already have a window AC unit in my office which keeps me comfortable in the summer.
