I prefer my children however it sure is nice to have a few hours alone with their mom. However, as the kids got older, they wanted to be on their own more. Of course, we were shut down for a couple of summers because we were staying close to the Heating as well as A/C security of house due to the pandemic. So this year, we are going to the same beach area however not staying in a resort. Instead, we found a vacation rental that is a few blocks from the beach however also close enough to the town center for the kids to ride their bikes in. Not only that however this vacation rental also has zone controlled Heating as well as A/C. And the master kitchen has a thermostat all to itself.
