An Heating & Air Conditioning mishap that could have been genuinely avoided

I feel so guilty & stupid about a recent event concerning our Heating & Air Conditioning system.

I pride myself on remembering all the little things I need to keep track of.

I have a yearly planner on our smartphone that gives myself and others alarms & replaces for our entire schedule. I meticulously schedule everything the night before, so that everything is taken care of. Doctor & doctor visits, all manner of appointments, grocery shopping, even leisure activities are all kept track of. So tell myself and others how it is that I completely forgot to change the air filter for our Heating & Air Conditioning system? It has been more than two weeks since I had changed the air filter, & lo & behold, I started getting concerns that I did not notice until yesterday… Now our air conditioner will not run respectfully at all, & I have to call for an Heating & Air Conditioning professional visit that could have been genuinely avoided! Maybe if I did not have so several pets that shed so much, our air filter wouldn’t have been congested so abruptly & thoroughly, but it’s not their fault! At the moment I was mulling this over, I sneezed & looked around. I swiftly remembered that an Heating & Air Conditioning professional had long ago suggested that I invest in HEPA filters because of all our pets & their shedding. She said they only needed to be replaced once every 6 weeks. As soon as the Heating & Air Conditioning professional I called out to maintenance the problem was finished, I resolved to right away invest in HEPA filters so that it wouldn’t be a disaster if I let it go for a few weeks.
