It’s funny how there is just so many things in our life that are so important but I honestly don’t recognize all that much about them.
- That’s the way it is when it comes to stuff like the heat pump.
Here this most important appliance in our home provides the necessary heating and cooling to myself and others and our family but I don’t recognize how. That was something I chose to rectify. And I wasn’t that interested in just looking it up online and getting some thumbnail sketch that was dumbed down for somebody like me. I wanted to hear it from an Heating and Air Conditioning professional. So when it was time for the heating maintenance last fall, I was home and I asked the Heating and Air Conditioning worker if I could tag along. He was super thrilled to especially when I explained why. This Heating and Air Conditioning worker was super passionate about quality heating and air. The wonderful thing was that he showed myself and others just how the heat pump works. I had no proposal that it’s called a heat pump because it really moves heat energy from a single are to the next. So when the heat pump kicks on during a warm Summer day, the first thing that happens is the heat energy is moved. In the case of residential Heating and Air Conditioning, that means the heat pump extracts the heat energy from the house and exhausts it outside. But that’s not all it’s getting rid of. At the same time, the heat pump is reducing the moisture in the air which then balances the humidity level. That’s why every one of us don’t have to argument mold and mildew all summer. The heat pump mitigates mold growth with humidity control.
