I am big about bringing natural light into the home, my hubby and I are surrounded by trees and it makes the inside of our house dark, and every one of us have added tons of high powered, recessed lights.

The lake house still isn’t actually bright; Now I am moving onto adding windows and making existing a singles larger. The dining room window expanded a foot. The laundry room has its own window, and i then added sliding glass doors in the family room! All that glass does create a lot of natural light. It makes the house look greater and airy… What it also does is make everything hotter though. The daylight now comes pouring into the house. The family room is downright boiling now. Washing dishes isn’t comfortable with the daylight coming in. My hubby and I never owned an AC until every one of us changed our windows. The trees supply shade and our section wasn’t that hot. With all the modern daylight coming in, AC became a must. Thankfully our house was outfitted with air duct that could still be used. Every one of us had a Heating and Air Conditioning dealership install central air conditioner to the house. Now every one of us are no longer boiling in any room for the house, having that cold air while in the peak of Summer is a actually nice perk. It added value to our house as well. It is annoying that every one of us had to buy more after spending a bunch on modern windows. Will the constant expenses never stop?
