I am not an HVAC expert by any means but I think I can do the job if I get on YouTube first to watch a video on how to clean the unit.
I plan on staying in the house today with the temperatures as high as they are outside. The news warned people to stay in the house if possible and avoid the daytime heat because they are registering temperatures in excess of 120F with the heat index. The humidity is really high today and it is one of the hottest days on record so I think it would be prudent for me to keep myself in the house and stay cool today. I plan on working on our whole home air purifying system and cleaning it up from top to bottom. There are several filters on it and I am sure they all need to be cleaned along with the rest of the system. I think we bought it four years ago and have only really had it cleaned one or two times, so with the extreme heat outside today I think I have a good opportunity to get it done. I was going to paint outside but there is no way I am going to last in this heat. Maybe I can also take a look at the HVAC ducts to see if they need to be cleaned while I am at it. I can call my friend and see if he wants to come over and help because I know he isn’t working today, he’s a roofer!
