I’ve been hearing my sister Kim rave about her smart thermostat for months. She purchased it when she found a coupon in the mail from the local hardware store. Kim didn’t want to lose out on a great deal, but instead of telling me that she didn’t absolutely need anything for her house, she perused the website and tried to locate something to use the coupon on! When Kim found the page about smart thermostats she knew right off that this was what she wanted for her house. After it was installed, she quickly began experimenting with it. She downloaded an app that linked up to her smart thermostat through WIFI and she scrolled through the numerous settings. Kim loved being able to see the temperature in her lake cottage and making sure that her heat and air were running well. I would even say that she became overly obsessed with the smart thermostat app and her home’s climate settings. I despised her smart thermostat just because I was sick of hearing how much she loved it. Finally, I started researching these smart thermostats myself because I didn’t know all the things my sister was mentioning. When I realized that the smart thermostat really did have amazing benefits, I decided to order one for myself. I wanted to enjoy the WIFI capability, efficiency charts, and virtual temperature settings in my own home! The only problem though was that I spent entirely too much time teasing Kim about her thermostat, which now I want myself! However, I don’t want to come across as a hypocrite.
