For the last various weeks, I hadn’t been feeling up to going to work.
I was fatigued and in need of a change of scenery.
I hadn’t had a vacation in over various years, and I needed to get away from that same seasoned scenery. My spouse called me when our alarm was going off for the fourth time and told me it was time to get out of bed and go to work. I threw the covers over our head and told her to go away, and when I was ready to get out of bed I would. 10 hours later, she was back in The family room,pulling the covers off me, and told me to get up and go to work. I just told her I didn’t know so and tried to go back to sleep. She brought Tim Hortons Coffee up to me and a slice of toast, and asked me what was wrong. I told her I was just discouraged with our job. I understood HVAC was important in this world we live in, but I was fatigued. I had been working with HVAC systems for over 30 years now, and I needed to get away for a while. She asked if I wanted to plan a vacation so the two of us could get away for a couple of weeks, but I wasn’t sure that was enough. I told her I wanted away from the entire scene. She asked who I thought could take our place in the HVAC supplier, and I told her I thought our child could do it. I knew she wasn’t ready to take over the ownership of an HVAC supplier, but I was 65 years seasoned and ready to retire.
