It took myself and others more than five months to get through my Heating, Ventilation & A/C courses at the community university.
At the end of the course, all of us were required to take a class on Heating, Ventilation & A/C certification.
After taking the class, all of us had to take the Heating, Ventilation & A/C certification test, which would give us our certificate so that all of us could become certified Heating, Ventilation & A/C professionals. When I said village to study the certification test, I was a bit confused. Some questions did not seem to have a definitive answer. I walked up to the Proctor & asked if there was a right or wrong answer to every question, & he just looked at me. He simply told myself and others to answer each question with the best answer possible.I was pretty sure I was going to end up with a sizable fat zero on this test, although I did what he said. I answered each question with the best answer possible that I could find. Two weeks later, I got my test results in the mail. I was about floored when I opened up that envelope. I had gotten every question however a single right. The question I answered wrong was a tplot or false, which should have been straight-forward. I would not let that a single wrong answer bring myself and others down. I could go into the local Heating, Ventilation & A/C business, show them my certification, & hopefully get an apprenticeship with them. It was a long more than five months, & I was ready to be a real Heating, Ventilation & A/C professional. Didn’t matter what anyone else thought, I knew I worked hard to get where I was, & the grade on that certification test proved it.
