It took myself and others six months to get through our Heating and A/C courses at the community university.
At the end of the course, the people I was with and I were required to take a class on Heating and A/C certification. After taking the class, the people I was with and I had to take the Heating and A/C certification test, which would provide us our certificate so that the people I was with and I could become certified Heating and A/C workers. When I said town to read the certification test, I was a bit confused. Some questions did not seem to have a definitive answer. I walked up to the Proctor and asked if there was a right or wrong answer to every question, and he just looked at me. He simply told myself and others to answer each question with the best answer possible.I was pretty sure I was going to end up with a big fat zero on this test, however I did what he said. I answered each question with the best answer possible that I could find. Two weeks later, I got our test results in the mail. I was about floored when I opened up that envelope. I had gotten every question however one right. The question I answered wrong was a tploy or false, which should have been simple. I would not let that one wrong answer bring myself and others down. I could go into the local Heating and A/C business, show them our certification, and hopefully get an apprenticeship with them. It was a long six months, and I was ready to be a real Heating and A/C worker. Didn’t matter what anyone else thought, I knew I worked taxing to get where I was, and the grade on that certification test proved it.
