When I found out I was having a girl, I vowed to encourage her to be the best she can be in life. I grew up at a time when parents were opening up to ladies to daughters working in male dominated industries. And this is why I became an accountant. While many don’t view it as a glamorous job, I love numbers plus appreciate working for odd companies. When my kid turned 8, she said she wanted to become an accountant like mommy. But, she had to work on her math skills. Instead of pushing her to what I am fantastic at, I encouraged her to do more mechanical work. She loved repairing cars with her dad plus was so fantastic at it. Eventually, she informed us that she was going to be a Heating, Ventilation plus A/C expert.
