I overheard a conversation between our sister-in-law and our spouse.
She was saying she married the wrong sister, and I laughed.
I’m sure if anyone had heard me laughing, they would have thought it odd. I knew what she was saying, and it was funny. Last week, we had to call an HVAC supplier to repair the air conditioner unit, and it was an luxurious proposition. Instead of getting a repair done, we ended up needing a current air conditioner unit. My sister was an HVAC dealer, and it would have been an easy repair for him. If she needed a current air conditioner unit, she would have gotten a discount on the equipment and been able to do the replacement with no replacement fees. My spouse loves me, but sporadically it would be nice to have an HVAC supplier in the house. Of course, sporadically it would be nice to have an electrician, doctor, or even a plumber in the family. I’m not sure why I didn’t know to ask our sister to do the replacement and save me some currency, but I didn’t want to bother him. I know how much time she puts in at work, and when she is home, she wants to spend the time with her family. If someone called me while I was enjoying family time, i wouldn’t be cheerful either. Last week, our sister’s refrigeration machine diet and she needed some help. She called and asked if I could come over. That’s when I was telling him about the air conditioner. She was aggravated that I hadn’t called him; since she had the weekend free.
