We own a successful cottage.
- It’s one thing to own a business, it’s another for it to be successful.
And we managed to say we have a thriving business. The first time we saw the cottage, it was in shambles. The previous owners were older & couldn’t take care of the location like back in its glory afternoons. Now, they were looking to sell it & pay off some of the debt they had accrued trying to keep the corporation afloat. We chose to give this location a opportunity because we have experience in the hospitality industry. But, first was trying to update it to a presentable state that would attract guests. The cottage required good heating in Winter & AC in summer. Otherwise, people couldn’t prefer a time in this amazing location at the height of the two seasons. Trying to find an affordable commercial Heating & Air Conditioning plan for the cottage was an uphill job. We consulted numerous Heating & Air Conditioning companies & they offered us a quote that nearly half the budget of renovating the entire cottage. Finally, one Heating & Air Conditioning supplier seemed reasonably priced & even offered us a discount for installation. They sent over an Heating & Air Conditioning crew to remove the old heating & cooling systems while checking the HVAC duct. Some of the HVAC duct had to be updated before they could install the new commercial Heating & Air Conditioning at the cottage. We ideally wanted to get radiant heating for the cottage to make it more sophisticated. But, we had to shelf those plans until later when we had made a return on the investment. The time seems right for this & next week we meet with the Heating & Air Conditioning supplier rep.
