Before the Winter started, I had a Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C professional come out to check the boiler system.
She looked around the system plus opened it up.
She was saying how the inner workings of the unit were in great condition plus it didn’t even need to be cleaned. She also remarked that the two of us must use wonderful water because in some sites, these systems will show more signs of deterioration. She suspected that this water boiler was at least 40 years old, which was surprising to me. The pipes were all in wonderful condition plus the boiler system worked just fine. I just thought that I needed a tune-up. She was saying how the newer boiler systems would require more repairs, because they don’t build these systems like they used to. I suspected that the two of us would get another decade out of the boiler system which I appreciated. Then she observed that there was a leak coming from my water heater. She said this thing really had to be replaced right away. I asked the tech what kind of water oil furnace I should get, plus said I would certainly go to Home Depot or Lowes for something. The woman stopped me plus said that I didn’t want 1 of those cheaper water furnaces because they are not built to last. She said to just go for something like a Bradford White water oil furnace because they are built stronger with an interior glass lining to prevent deterioration. I told him the job was hers if she could get the water heater. It was in a few nights when she came out with the modern water oil furnace plus installed it for me. She also told me that I should consider going for a ductless mini break air conditioner in the Spring, to have the best cooling system for my home. I think I will be calling the pro in the Spring to take care of that!
