This week when I’m getting our new gas furnace installed, I am not going to be able to be home at the time that the installation guys are coming! I have to work that day, and there is no way for me to be able to get off to come home long enough to have the furnace installed.
I tried to get it changed, but if I wait and skip this slot on their time schedule, I’m going to have to wait for more than two more weeks and the weather is already cooling down quite a bit! I do not want to wait any longer.
But I also do not want to have people inside my home that I do not know when I’m not at home, even if they are qualified HVAC servicemans. I am really paranoid about stuff like that most of the time. I know that the HVAC servicemens are really fully insured and certified and they are all really stand up guys. I just have a problem with trusting people being inside my home when I am out there. I think that this mainly says a lot about me and not honestly much about them. I think I am just going to have to see if I can find someone else to come and let them in and hang around the home while I am at work or something. Either that, or I am just going to have to suck it up and provide them the code so they can get into the loft to do the furnace installation while I’m gone. I just do not see that happening though.
